Bournemouth - A good entertainer!

Bournemouth is a large coastal resort town in the Borough of Bournemouth in Dorset, England.

It has the largest settlement in Dorset. It is also the largest town on the English south coast between Southampton and Plymouth. In a 2007 survey by First Direct Bank, Bournemouth was found to be the happiest place in Britain with 82% of people questioned saying they were happy with their life.In late August 2008, it was published that the East Dorset conurbation (including Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch) is the safest place to live in England and Wales in terms of crime.

Bournemouth is located 105 miles (169 km) southwest of London. One of the very few sandy beaches in the UK, most of them are pebble beaches.

Must do activity in Bournemouth are

1) The Bournemouth Eye - Was quite scared initially but must accept that I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

2) Bournemouth Pier - a nice place.

3) Boscombe Pier

4) A fast speed boat ride - its called the shockwave ride...

5) Either a bird watching cruise or a Old Harry rocks & Jurassic Heritage Coast Cruise - I took the latter and must say the ride was worth every penny...
Bournemouth is located directly to the east of the Jurassic Coast, a 95-mile (153 km) section of beautiful and largely unspoilt coastline recently designated a World Heritage Site. Apart from the beauty of much of the coastline, the Jurassic Coast provides a complete geological record of the Jurassic period and a rich fossil record.

6) Annually an air show happens here - must watch, I really loved the Red Arrows, real fast and the most daring show I have ever seen...reserve your time for the next year.

7) Boat Races

Let me let the pictures do some speaking...
